Maxime Felder

is a sociologist working at the intersection of urban sociology, the sociology of migration and the sociology of social networks. His research focuses on the relationship between urban space and social relations, and on hospitality and how vulnerable newcomers find their bearings and a place to stay in European cities. He is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Urban Sociology, where he is working on socio-environmental controversies related to housing (rezoning, densification).
