is a doctoral researcher at Newrope, Chair for Architecture and Urban Transformation, within the Institute for Landscape and Urban Studies at D-ARCH, ETH Zürich. With academic training in agronomy, philosophy, and human settlements from KULeuven, Philippe has developed over 30 years of experience as a systems and futures consultant, working across diverse fields to support changemakers in policy, civil society, and philanthropy. From 2015 to 2021, he served as Core Faculty for the Sustainable Peace Project at the Advanced Consortium for Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity at the Earth Institute, Columbia University, New York. Philippe is also an active member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation for Systems Research, a trustee of the International Futures Forum, an expert advisor for the European Alliance for Public Health, and a member of the advisory board at MonViso Institute. Philippe integrates his professional work and research with a first-person inquiry through photography, merging pedestrianism and geopoetics in signature projects of lyrical documentary.
