AtlasFood Production & Labour Gautham Ramesh and Yifeng Xie

This atlas analyses the systematic challenges of the current Swiss food system and explores possible future alternatives. Global warming and heavy rains caused by climate change are challenging the industrial agriculture model. At the same time, agricultural production is under pressure through the loss of farmers and labour shortages, threatening Swiss food security and the promoted landscape image. A combination of encouraging agroecological practices and the monitoring of crops through digital technologies, could potentially help meet these callenges.
